Become a part of the CVS Challenge!

• Data Donation: We encourage additional contributions of laparoscopic Cholecystectomy videos from across the globe. Your data donation will contribute to future iterations of the challenge. For that purpose, we have developed the SAGES Video Acquisition Portal for safe de-identification of surgical videos and easy uploading and processing. Click here to learn how to use the Portal and find out more about data donation to the CVS Challenge. A data donation agreement for individual institutional review board approval can be found here. 

• Join the Annotation Team: Annotators will participate in the first SAGES Annotation School in a proficiency-based progress approach. After completing the school, annotators will have access to the entire dataset. Volunteering as an annotator offers opportunities to learn more about surgical AI, co-authorships, and future collaboration.
